Lamar Revises Lineup For Raiders' Invasion

Coach Henry Lamar of the Crimson eleven has revamped his starting lineup for what may be the Crimson's toughest contest of the season, tomorrow's encounter, on Soldiers Field at 2:30 o'clock, with the Night Raiders from the Melville, R. I., Motor Torpedo Boat School.

Boasting a powerful roster of former college stars, the PT gridmen are one of the most highly touted teams in the East. Possible starter for the Raiders is Torbie Macdonald, one-time Crimson half-back and captain, who is in top shape once more after returning from 16 months of duty in the Pacific.

In last week's 45 to 0 slaughter of Boston College, the Raiders displayed a smashing ground attack and an almost impregnable defense. Showing a--193-pound line and an 185-pound backfield, they routed the Eagles.

Zoeller Stars

Star of the Melville eleven so far this season has been Don Zoeller, three-year starter on the University of Kentucky, who ran or passed for every one of the Raiders' 45 points last Saturday. Outstanding on the forward wall is Lennie. Thom, left tackle, who was All-American at Ohio State in 1940.

Included in Lamar's changes on the Crimson lineup is a shift of powerful Ed Davis, backbone of the Cantabs' line, from guard to tackle, to replace Bill Sweeney. Filling in at Davis's guard position will be Mal Allen, B team player last term. At center, in place of Jim Crane, is Vic Vicario, who was on the Varsity last year.

Former Dartmouth regulars scheduled to start tomorrow are Roy Morter, taking over the left end position, and Hero Fritts, who will be seen in place of Glen Schultz at the wingback post.
