HOUSE LEAGUE STARTS AGAIN

Passing Stressed by Lowell Eleven in Opening Workout

Although House grid practices this week have been light and confined easily to conditioning work and signal drills, assistant athletic director Adolf Samborski expects that by the first of next week, at least a hundred men will be working out.

Getting the jump on other league members, Lowell House has swung into high gear and is rounding into shape fairly rapidly. Much heavier than last term, the Bellboy team is packed with returning veterans, who in addition to going through conditioning exercises this week, have been working on their aerial attack in preparation for next Wednesday's opening game with the Eliot NROTC. Included in the long list of returning Lowell gridmen are 'Ayres, Brock, Harrison, Robb, Ryan, Sammond, and Sutton.

With the transfer of the NROTC from Kirkland to Eliot House will come a keener spirit of competition between the two units, which last term climaxed the season with a hard-fought encounter.
