Chaplain Alvie L. McKnight is the newest addition to the Staff and Faculty of the Chaplain School, it was announced yesterday by the School's Commandant, Chaplain William D. Cleary.
Commissioned in the Regular Army in 1939, the new Staff member has served one and a half years in the Air Corps at Hamilton Field, California; one and a half years in Hawaii; and six months in the South Pacific, returning to the United States in May of 1943. He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff School at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and for the past three months has been Division Chaplain of the 17th Air-Borne Division.
