Eliot House' nautical proboseidean have captured the inter-House basketball laurels for the 1943 season. The finished up the second round of the competition with their escutcheon still unblemished thus doing away with any need for playoff.

Lowell came in second for this round with a record of three victories and one defeat. Dunster came in third with an record of two and two, Adams fourth with one and three, and Kirkland last, with nary a victory to show for its efforts.

Eliot was paced by George Boston and Henry Hibbard who finished second and first respectively in the league's scoring. Hibbard scored 101 points in seven games and Boston 68 points in six. Monday, the briny mammoths will tangle with the Jayvees, in a tussle in which the Jayvees, will be the underdogs. The Eliot men will have three Varsity or former Varsity players in their starting lineup, namely Hibbard, Boston, and Jack Falsey.
