PUBLICATION TO BE RESUMED BY ADVOCATE

Mother Advocate, Harvard's oldest publication and the nation's oldest college literary periodical, rose from its grave last night to announce the starting of a new competition tonight at 7:30 o'clock and to rescind its mid-July "cease and desist" order. Reason for the resurrection was the "considerable improvement in finances", Advocate members announced.

Also announced last night was a publication date of next Friday for the Advocate's Russian issue, long delayed because of financial difficulties, Originally announced as the last Advocate for the duration, this issue is dedicated to Russia and will contain translations of Russian literature since 1917 as well as critisims of Russian drama. A punch planned along the lines of last year's Somerset Maughm affair will be held on October 9 to celebrate the issue.

Carrying on Mother Advocate's tradition, the Bow Street editors in conjunction with the Harvard Dramatic Club will entertain Paul Robeson and other principals from the cast of "Othello" at a punch at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon.
