The new Vesper Chorus, composed of officers studying at the University, their wives, and WAVES at Radcliffe, is to have its first rehearsal this evening at 6:30 o'clock. The group will take part in the Divine Services given each Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock in Potter Hall, the building adjoining the Stadium on Boylston Street.
Clarence W. Helsing, S.P.W., a 1940 graduate of the New England Conservatory and for three years the music director at the First Lutheran Church in Providence, is to conduct the group. Lieutenant Carl Knudsen, Chaplain USNR, is responsible for the organization of the chorus.
