SOCCER SQUAD TO PLAY RAF

Woodside, Allen, Apthorp To Be in Game Tomorrow

Two informal soccer matches will be held tomorrow on the fields beyond the stables of Soldiers Field, when two squads of R.A.F. flyers from Squantum tangle with the A and B teams of the Harvard soccer squad.

The first four days of practice have "unearthed a rich harvest" for Coach Polly Guyda to work and play with. Outstanding booter thus far is Bob Woodsie of the V-12 unit, who formerly played soccer in the Philadelphia area.

Also starring on the A team in scrim- mages have been Herbert Allen and Jim Apthorp of last year's team, both of whom will play against the R.A.F.ers Saturday. No complete lineups have been decided on as yet, however, since the team has only had four days of practice.

Practice out at Soldiers Field have been informal so far. A and B teams have been picked and go through an average of two scrimmages a day, while substitutes for both teams look on
