V-12 men will soon have martial strains to accompany them during their regular Saturday drilling at Soldiers Field. A 50 piece band composed of V-12 mates will insure proper cadence for the 930 aspirant officers-to-be. Under the leadership of Lt. (j.g) Earle W. Barnes USNR, the band will throw superstition to the winds by having its first practice Friday the 13th.
