HARVARD WINS OVER NAVY 4-1

After taking away most of the Harvard pitching staff, the war did a turnabout for Coach Foyd Stahl by giving him an old nemesis, Bill Judge, to bolster his mound corps, and Judge came through Tuesday to spark the Crimson to a stinging 4-1 victory over the Boston Naval Receiving Station.

In his only previous appearance on Soldiers Field, Judge beat the Harvard varsity 5-4 in the opening game of the season against Boston University.

Besides pitching a seven-hit game against the sailors, the V-12 Sophomore hurler drove in one and scored two of the Harvard runs himself.

Crimson scoring started in the second inning with two outs, when Judge drove in first baseman Bob Slattery and later Scored.
