Four Navy Men Begin Summer Tennis Tourney Semi-Finals

Ranks were filled in the semi-final round of the summer tennis tourney when Jack Lynch vanquished Jack Fried last night, 6-2, 6-0. Still running a week behind schedule, the tennis tourney may finish over the weekend.

Also in the semi-finals are Robert Hunker, who best John Zinsser, 7-5, 1-6, 6-0, F. M. Shore, who won over Richard Wolfard, 6-1, 6-2, and Thomas Mann who overcame Bruce Cameron, 6-1, 6-3.

All the men remaining in the tournament are in the Navy. Mann and Shore are officers in the Naval Training Schools, Hunker an officer in the Navy Supply Corps School, and Lynch is in V-12.
