'47 Committee to Meet On Thursday

Freshman Organization to Plan Summer Festivities

Holding its first meeting since its appointment two weeks ago, the Freshman Committee will convene Thursday night at 7:30 o'clock on the Lowell House, Common Room to lay plans for summer entertainments and other summer Freshman affairs.

The Committee in operation now is a temporary one, and will be replaced at elections to be held during the next semester, it was announced yesterday. Thomas L. P. O'Donnell, newly appointed editor of the Redbook, has also been appointed to the Freshman Committee.

The other members of the committee, all of whom were appointed by the Student Council, are John C. Babcock, Robert E. Barry, Stephan D. Becker, Victor J. Critchlow, James C. Dolan, Robert S. Gordon, Richard A. Green, James R. Hollis, Frederick P. Murphy, and Robert E. Philpot.
