Despite the fact that they're still wandering around in rather bedraggled and definitely civilian clothing, the apprentice seamen sailing on the twin "ships" Eliot and Kirkland are gradually getting their sea legs and learning that they're in the Navy.
And the uniforms will be coming soon, although just when is a military secret. NROTC men already have theirs, and have been wandering around Boston reaping the advantage thereof.
The Navy is making its influence felt most strongly at 6 o'clock in the morning when reveille blows, and eight minutes later when the still-sleeping V-12ers line up for enlisthenics or running; the attractions are offered on alternate days.
Morning Routine
