STUDENT COUNCIL OPENS SERVICE FIND CAMPAIGN

The Harvard Service Fund Pledge Drive, conducted by the Student Council; will open tomorrow under the direction of Andrew W. Welch, Jr. '44, Council treasurer, and John W. Ellison '44, newly appointed member of the Council and president of the PBH.

The students will be asked to contribute the customary five to seven dollars to the fund, the only assessment of any kind during the whole year. The contributions, which have totaled $3,000 in the past, are allotted to the Red Cross and other war service or organizations.
