Golf and Tennis Teams Swamp Tech, Andover

Both the tennis and golf teams moved closer to the season's end Wednesday as the courtmen beat Andover 7 to 0 at home on the Jarvis Courts, and the golfers took a 7 to 2 match from M.I.T. at the Oakley Country Club.

Lack of time prevented the playing of two doubles matches, but the John Zinsser and Jack Lynch combination downed their opponents, as did all the singles entries. The best individual engagement was between Mal Moley, number one man, and Bill Schock, prep schooler who had previously beaten him. After dropping the first set and only saving the second by several lucky breaks, Moley took the third set, 6-0.

On the greens, number one man Ned Tuckerman's 23 hole match was the only thriller.
