A close 19 to 18 victory over Platoon Eight gave Platoon Two the basketball championship for class 3-'43 on Monday. Playing in the Indoor Athletic Building, Forward Davis sparked his mates to their victory with five points. Just behind was Center Curtis with a net of four goals.
High scorer for the contest was Guard Wean who accumulated the sum of seven points for Platoon Eight. He was closely followed by Center Turley with five tallies to his credit. Defensively, Duchene starred for the winners while Center Taylor looked god on the losers' side.
