On Tuesday, April 6 Naval Officers Wives Club of the Communications School held their weekly meeting in the lounge of the Harvard Union. Due to the illness of the chairman, Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Bissell, vice-chairman, presided. It was announced that twenty Navy wives had registered with the Red Cross Blood Bank as donors. Following the meeting we were entertained by Miss Margaret. Voorhis, soprano, and Reginald Boardman at the piano. The services of these artists were secured by Mrs. Barker through Miss Ruth Hayes, of Boston. Miss Voorhis' selections consisted of foreign folk songs and several familiar American compositions; Mr. Boardman also entertained with a piano selection. Due to the enthusiasm of the audience the artists reluctantly consented to encores. It was a most enjoyable afternoon.

On Wednesday, the naval officers Husbands and Wives Club have arranged a party for all. Open House will be from five until seven at the Lounge in the Harvard Union with refreshments for all. At seven o'clock the wives will witness the remaining films of the "Prelude to War" plus a film on Navy aviation. At nine o'clock through the efforts of Lieutenant Turner, a program has been arranged for all. The Club cordially invites all to attend this gala event.
