With the season's opener only four days away, Coach Floyd Stahl declared last night that his Crimson nine was just about set for its first 1943 appearance. The club opens activities at Boston on Saturday afternoon, opposing Boston University, a team the Stahlmen defeated twice last season.
Stahl did not release a starting lineup, but recent practices have seen four new Freshmen on the first nine, bolstered by five veterans. Warren Berg, experienced right-hander, will probably take the mound, with Ned Fitzgibbons, slugger transplanted from first base and the out-field, as his battery mate. Fitz is expected to bat in the clean-up slot.
