Under the guidance of their newly elected captain, Don Daniels, the Crimson tennis team subdued two opponents in as many days, with victories over Andover and Tufts. The prepsters were defeated on their own courts by a 7 to 2 count, Wednesday afternoon, while the Tufts netters were handed an 8 to 1 setback on the Jarvis clay, yesterday.
The Andover matches were prolonged due to a heavy wind, with most of them going into three sets, while a short and speedy win was gained over Tufts.
Avenging last week's loss to Tuftz' Riley, Mal Moley scored a 6-0, 6-1 triumph over the same opponent. Ted Bullard, Jack Lynch, Tom Baker, Daniels, Charley Greenspan, and John Zinsser also lent valuable assistance in both contests.
