Playing its first softball double header, Adams House, losing to Dunster, tripped Winthrop 9 to 5 Monday. The first game was won by the Funsters when in the last inning the winners trickled in five runs, four of which were scored with two out. Winston Lucke held the Gold Coasters to six runs. Behind the pitching of George Bentley, Adams House drubbed the Puritans 9 to 5.

Eliot soaked Dunster yesterday 31 to 10 in an informal contest due to incomplete teams. Elephants Chuck Finbury starred for the winners with a four bagger, a double, and numerous singles. Cy Kassman, lent by Eliot, sparked on the Funster's ten getting two for three and letting in only five runs.

Leverett shaded Lowell 21 to 5 led by the softball twirling of Hank Oedel yesterday. Lowell's defense fell apart when Irv Horowitz had to leave his shortstop hot spot.

The Adams and Deacon hardballers were forced into a 3 to 3 deadlock yesterday by rain. Frank MacNutt pitched the Gold Coasters seven innings, while George and Dick Albion traded the shagging and mound positions.

Kirkland played off a baseball tie Monday with the Elephants winning, behind the tossing of Mort Mendelsohn, 9 to 4.

George Dillon, Tom Wood, and Dick Gorlin piled up three points for the Gold Coast netters win over Lowell yesterday. Dunster defaulted to the Deacon racquetmen Monday.
