With a long Patriot's Day weekend last week, Cadet Major Jack Corrigan's Battery Z postponed its schedule RSOP and enjoyed itself for the time being. Battery Z took the field on April 21, for its first practice, and more extra drills are expected to follow.

All work and no play has never been the keynote of ROTC drills. Slacking off last week, D and F Batteries held beer parties and it seems that the esprit de corps of the unit has become even higher than before.

Last Saturday, under the command of Sergeant Bruce, seven enlisted men and ten students rode the remaining 18 ROTC horses to an M.P. detachment in Maynard, Mass. The ride, 24 miles long, started at 700 and ended at 1300. Riders had lunch at the mess hall there and returned in the afternoon by truck.

In spite of unfavorable weather, Mil Sci gunnery classes have continued as usual, although shifting winds and varying pressures have been making it difficult for the "B.C." at times. Mil Sci III is getting its first taste of "Large T" and wishes it could go back to "Axial."

The final meeting of the Caisson Club will be held next Tuesday in the Kirkland House Junior Common Room at 2000. Activity in the Caisson Club has been slack lately because of the pressure of hour exams and divisionals.
