Captain Don MacKinnon and IC4A hammer-throw champ Willo Fisher accounted for four of the Crimson trackmen's nine firsts Saturday as the Mikkolamen ran off with an 81-54 victory over Tufts on Soldiers Field.

MacKinnon scored his double in the high and low hurdles, taking the 120 highs in 15.5 and the lows in 12.4. Fisher led in his speciality and nabbed a first in the discus as well. Freshman Paul Laskin came close to making that high-scoring due of MacKinnon and Fisher into a trio as he took a sparking first in the 220 and was just nosed out in the 100 by Ed Palmeri of Tufts.

Harvard's mragin of superiority was provided by its domination of the field events. The Crimson dropped only the shot and the high jump, scoring a sweep in the broad jump and taking a first and a place in every field event. Harvard's only other sweep came in the half mile, as Henry Mason led teammates Ben Coggins and Ward Slingerland to the tape in 2:04.9.

Threatening weather, with an occasional shower, kept performances within respectable limits.
