Gold Coast twirler Al Hartwig, and Lowell's pitcher Sheldon Sachs were not able to keep the scoring low. The Runnies pushed Dudley aside for a 6 to 4 win.

The House basketball champions from Leverett who had entered in the Boston Open Basketball Tournament were beaten in their semifinals match 26 to 38 by a Charlestown Navy Yard team.
