Crimson Suspends Two-Page Issues

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Starting next week, the Crimson will discontinue its Tuesday and Thursday two-page issues. Under this reduced printing schedule, regular four-page papers will appear on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the six-page Service News will as usual be published weekly to be distributed to all the service men stationed at the University.

Pressure of work, the departure of several more editors for the Army, and a continued reduction in advertising revenues have made this step imperative. It means a return to the schedule of last summer, and marks the first time since the World War that the Crimson has been forced to give up daily publication during a regular semester.

Plans are now being made to stabilize this schedule and to insure the publication of a paper at least three times a week for the duration.
