Here are some those powerfully beautiful professional American beauties you've heard so much about. From the looks of things Old Connoisseur John Robert Powers has turned over his whole organization, on loan of course, to the Hollywood pulchritude exploiters, and the results are beautiful but dumb.
Powers Girl is about women--all of them ravishingly beautiful, but still Women, as you'll find out when they open their mouths. Luckily, most of them have just been exposed to the camera and then sent on their pretty ways, but some of them were handed some lines to read, and the result is disillusioning. There are some Hollywood women around, too, in the persons of Carolo Landis and Anne Shirley. Also to be seen on occasion is George Murphy, who not only has himself a good time, but makes the most of miserable material.
