Capt. Woodman in Charge, Gives Customary Welcome

On receipt of special orders Major John F. Heflin, Commanding Officer of the Statistics School, has been sent to Knollwood Field, Southern Pines, North Carolina on temporary duty. Until recently one of the offices of Major Heflin has been to address the incoming students, and present an orientation lecture.

On Saturday morning Captain Lyman L. Woodman will officially welcome the members of the class 8-43 in his capacity as acting Commanding Officer. Captain Woodman will continue in this office.
