Deanna Durbin Will Help To Boost Bond Sales Here

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

To boost tottering War Bond sales among Harvard undergraduates, Hollywood's Deanna Durbin has volunteered to send a letter and autographed picture to the student who buys the most bonds and stamps next week.

Deeply alarmed by the College attitude, even though she has never been voted worst anything by the cynic Poon, Deanna was the first to answer the letter sent by the War Service Committee, to 12 stars, including Veronica Lake, Ann Sheridan, and Betty Grable.

Beginning next Monday the contest will be weekly, with other lovelies following the golden-tongued, starry-eyed veteran of the hazards of adolescence, "the little girl" who has grown up with America's youth." Meanwhile, students are sharpening their pocketbooks for the big race.
