Princetonian Suspended As Manpower Losses Hit Staff

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Succumbing suddenly to the manpower shortage, the Daily Princetonian ceased publication with its Saturday issue. Without any slow cutting down process the "Prince" went immediately from a full daily to no paper at all.

Long expected by the staff, the demise of the Ivy League daily was planned so that the students would still be able to get official news, Chairman Eugene Holland, Jr., and Managing Editors J. Van Ness Phillip, Jr. and Benjamin H. Walker said in a joint announcement in the paper's final issue.

A University Bulletin will be published three times weekly with the aim of "keeping the undergraduate body in touch with University officials."
