Playing its first intercollegiate match of the season, the Varsity squash team, coached by Jack Barnaby, went down to defeat last Saturday at the hands of a superior Yale squad 7 to 2. The contest took place at the Harvard Club of Boston.

In the feature match of the day Docker Orr, the Crimson's number one man, defeated Dick Cooley of the Blue 3 to 2 in a closely-contested game. The Harvard ace, down two games to none, came from behind to defeat his rival.

The only other victory for the Barnaby men was garnered by Cort Parker, number nine man, playing his first match in Varsity competition.
