Walt Disney was in Boston early this morning, planning to confer with Earnest A. Hooton, professor of Anthropology, this afternoon and tomorrow to gather material for a new movie which will debunk Nazi race ideology.
A telephone call to the movie artist in New York yesterday revealed that he was planning to spend the night at the Copley Plaza, but the hotel stated last evening that his reservation was for early today, following a trip up from New York on the sleeper.
"Fishing Trip Only"
Disney, who will be accompanied by his wife and two script writers, has termed his visit a 'fishing expedition" only, to see what ideas and material Hooton can give him. He is not sure what application anthropological theory will have to his movie, other than supplying a scientific background for his argument against the superiority of the Nordic strain.
Hooton recently defended himself against the charge of being a Nazi by saying that for years he had opposed the new German doctrine of the supremacy of Nordic peoples. He is an advocate of racial improvement by biological means.
