Coach Jay Schffran's Crimson wrestling team, winning every bout but one, made Springfield's grapplers squeak "uncle" yesterday afternoon, to the tune of a 29 to 5 strangulation at the Indoor Athletic Building.

The Varsity won right down the line, from Bill Reidy's decision victory in the 121-pound class to Dug Burns' triumph in the 175-pound division, but gridder Stan Durwood, in the unlimited section, was pinned by the Gymnasts' Larry Mulvaney in 4:07 for the only Crimson loss of the afternoon.

Highlighting the action were fall victories by Walt Parsons, who chalked up his 24th consecutive triumph, Pete Fuller, and Jim Higgins. Whit Smith won by forfelt when opponent Earl Buckley was forced to retire with an injured rib.

The summary:

121-pound class: Reidy (H) defeated Mclick by decision, 7 to 1.

128-pound class: Guild (H) defeated Kane by decision, 10 to 0.

136-pound class: Higgins (H) pinned Judd in 5:27, with an arm grapevine and half-nelson.

145-pound class: Smith (H) defeated Buckley by forfeit.

155-pound class: Parsons (H) pinned Hugo in 4:45, with a half-nelson and arm grapevine.

165-pound class: Fuller (H) pinned Koizumi in 6:57, with an arm lock and body chancery.

175-pound class: Burns (H) defeated Lineberger by decision, 4 to 1.

Unlimited class: Mulvaney (S) pinned Durwood in 4:07, with a cradle lock.
