"Wartime Economic Planning in the Tolan Bill" will be the subject of Jack Green, secretary of the New England district of the Communist Party, in an informal talk of a meeting of the John Reed Society on Thursday night in the Leverett House Common Room.
Green, who has served as a Communist Party secretary for the past four years, was formally an instructor in economics at the City College of New York.
This meeting of the John Reed Society represents a continuation of discussion about the Tolan Bill which was a semi-theme of the Society's last meeting in January. The meeting is open.
