Passano Elected Head Of HLU Committee
Five men were elected to the Executive Council of the Harvard Liberal Union in a meeting yesterday afternoon, setting up a new governing board for the organization. L. Magruder Passano III '46 was chosen chairman of the council, which replaces the former system of a president and other officers.
Others chosen to the council were Stephen F. Elliston '46, Mitchell I. Goodman '45, James Heilbrun '46, and Thomas S. Kuhn '43. Plans were laid at the meeting for continued operation of the Union despite shortages of manpower and time. Cooperation with Radcliffe and the Labor Fellows is expected to play a large part in the program.
