Coach Floyd Stahl will bring an unknown and untried five onto the floor of the Indoor Athletic gymnasium tomorrow night at 8:45 o'clock to test a veteran Tufts team. A preliminary, Junior, Varsity game will start at 7:30 o'clock.
The Jumbos will be a sizable favorite, as the men from Medford will bring over practically the same team that beat last year's Varsity, 57-56 in a five minute overtime period after 44 personal fouls. The Tufts offense depends mostly on fast breaks and sleeper plays, and the defense employs a shifting zone against the Harvard man-to-man.
Three Men Out
The Crimson will also be handicapped by the absence of Henry Hibbard, last year's starting guard for B. U., who is scholastically ineligible. George Boston, first string center, but a V-12 Freshman, and Dan Shields, one of two returning veterans, who broke his ankle the second practice of the year.
Of the starters, Dean Hennessey is a Varsity veteran and captain of the team, Dick Warren played first string Junior Varsity last year, as did Ray Eder, Dick Manville is a new Freshman, and Bob Rayle has played House ball. Other men who will probably see a lot of action are Don Geeson at center and Jack Falsey at one of the forwards.
