CRIMSON ELEVEN MEETS W. P. I.

Still glowing from their surprise victory over Camp Edwards, the Varsity football team may be toned down considerably after tomorrow's tussle with Worcester Polytechnic Institute if reports from the Camp of the Engineers are to be believed. Although the visitors have lost their last two games, they are said to possess a strong, heavy line and at least two topnotch backs. And what is more to the point, they tied Holy Cross 13-13 in a practice game when the Crimson was losing to Tufts.

Harvard will start off with ten of the eleven men who opened against the soldiers last week, with Jed Goldberg at right guard the only new face. The 185-pound V-12 transfer from Johns Hopkins is filling in for the injured Wally Mroz, but Mroz will also see some action. Everyone else on the squad is in good shape.

Tomorrow's game, which starts at 3 o'clock, will be the first home showing of the informal football team, or for that matter, of informal football. It differs from the formal variety largely in that admission is free to all men in uniform, and to all civilian students who show their red participation tickets. For other civilians the price will be 50 cents.

No Reserved Seats

Since all seats are unreserved, those wishing to sit on the Harvard side were urged by H. A. A. Director Carroll F. Getchell to enter Soldiers Field by gate 20, between Briggs Cage and Dillon Field House.

This set-up may be changed for the game with Boston College, recently scheduled for November 20, because requests for reserved tickets have already started to trickle in, and if the crowd is likely to be too heavy for this haphazard system, some formalities may have to be introduced.

Some Tradition Left

Aside from the admission angle, everything will be pretty much as in the past. The band will play, although it is reduced in numbers and most of its members will be wearing Navy blue instead of the traditional Crimson blazers.
