Servicemen on leave for more than three days will be given supplementary food and gas rations while away from their activities, according to information obtained from local authorities.
For food points, it is only necessary to apply with signed leave papers to the rationing board in the town where the time is spent. Coupons will be awarded to supply food for the period indicated on the pass presented.
In order to obtain the five gallons of gasoline established as the armed force leave quota, the registration number of the automobile used must be presented with the application. The certificate issued is so worded that the fuel allowance is to be used in this one car only.
Members of the V-12 Unit not planning to leave the vicinity during the coming mid-term leave may obtain these rations from the Cambridge board located in the City Hall.
