KIRKLAND CAGERS WIN FROM LOWELL 26 TO 13

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lowell House, undefeated and defending basketball champ, bowed yesterday to the Kirkland quintet in a 26 to 13 defeat.

The game was close during the first quarter with Kirkland only three points ahead at the end of the quarter. In the second quarter, however, the Deacons broke up Lowell's zone defense and rang up the big margin. High scorer for Kirkland was Freshman Charlie Carson who proved himself a very accurate shooter. Also playing consistent heads-up ball was Dave Barnett '43, Bellboy center who scored seven points.
