Lover Come Back to Me, Or No Wellesley Till March 3

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The advantages of a Harvard education were becoming doubtful yesterday as the doleful announcement was made that Wellesley will not reopen until March 3. Life in Cambridge has not been the same this winter with the Wabanettes gone, and the dreary Radcliffe-and-WAVE-bound existence will now be extended.

Oil, of course, is the reason for the girls' staying away so long. Most of the eastern women's colleges had long Christmas vacations, but Wellesley's is far the most succulent, and has sent most of the students scurrying to jobs for the period.

Hardest his Harvardians are the ERC boys. The February 15 active duty date would have left them a week with Willesley, whose return was to be on February 6. That was raised to the 15th, but the ERC date also got vaguely put off. This final blow is too much.
