Six employees of the Biological Laboratories have started a blood-doning ball rolling with mass donations yesterday morning. Joseph Pennington, who organized the group, said last night that he hoped the idea would catch on in other departments. Those, besides Pennington, who were among the first to give blood in Boston yesterday were: Mrs. Catherine Donovan, Mrs. Catherine Mervin, Mrs. Dorothy Irwin, Mrs. Alma Thomas, and Mrs. Bertha Mederos.
