The University Radio Board is sponsoring in its summer schedule a series of radio addresses this month to be given by members of the Faculty under the general title of "The Fight for a Free World."
J. Anton de Haas, William Ziegler Professor of International Relations, gave the first of these talks, which are broadcast over Station WRUL, yesterday afternoon. His address was entitled "Weapons for Victory: Ships". It wil be repeated on Wednesday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock.
The rest of the schedule is as follows: August 7, 9, and 12 'Weapons for Victory: Mobilizing for Production" by Cecil E. Fraser, Associate Professor of Business; August 14, 16, and 19 "Weapons for Victory; Food" by John D. Black, Henry Lee Professor of Economics; August 21, 23, and 26 "Weapons for Victory: Oil" by Kirtley F. Mather, Professor of Geology and Director of the Summer School; August 28, 30, and September 2 "Weapons for Victory: Propaganda" by Carl J. Friedrich, Professor of Government and Harvard's propaganda expert.
These talks are broadcast on Friday evenings at 7:30 o'clock and repeated on Sunday afternoons at 2.30 and 6.30 o'clock; and on Wednesday afternoons at 5:15 o'clock.
