The College Committee for Russian War Relief is holding a Russian Autumn Festival Dance on Friday evening, September 4 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Plans include a floor show, and Ruby Newman's orchestra will furnish the music for dancing.
Tamara Polevaya of Radcliffe and Lucy March of Vassar are in charge of entertainment. Last spring a similar dance was held for the Russian War Relief and was a great success. The money raised was used for medical and surgical supplies to embattled Russia.
Tickets are available through Traian Stolanovich, 34 Mellen St. in Cambridge, and the list of patronesses as well as the list of students from Harvard and Radcliffe aiding in the festival includes many familiar and well known names.
