Entries for the Red Cross Tennis Tournament, which begins on Monday and will last until September 19, have been very disappointing so far with only about 12 names down.
The deadline for entering is tomorrow noon at the Tennis and Squash Shop on Mt. Auburn Street, and anyone from Navy men to girls are eligible. The entrance fee will be turned over to the Red Cross.
In the University Tennis Tournament, the 3rd round was completed this week when John T. Dunlop, instructor in Economics, defeated Vincent Brandt '46, Varsity squad member, in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.
Dunlop meets Hugh Hyde, number two on the Varsity team, in the remaining quarter-final match. The winner of this will meet Lin Burton '42, in the lower bracket semi-final match. In the other semi-final, Al Everts plays Mal Moley, a promising Freshman from California.
