248 New Students for Second Term Enrolled

Only 104 Drop Out; Total of 3105 Undergraduates Here

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After feverish activity with an adding machine, University registration officials have announced the total enrollment figure of new students for the second session as 248, 30 of them being Radcliffe girls.

The girl situation, however, has gone from bad to worse. There are now only 78 women in Wigglesworth, the only girl dormitory; and mostly working girls seem to be left, the geographers and public speakers having retired to the more healthful haunts of field and stream.

44 More Than Last Term

The new additions bring the total enrollment to 3105 undergraduates, as compared to the figure of 3061 for last term. Only 104 students have shunned the pleasures of a second term.
