Opened to properly undressed ladies and men every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30, the mixed swimming periods have been providing both athletic and social enjoyment for many Summer School students, and have actually seen real swimming talent.
Conspicuous on one evening lately was a foursome of professional-looking crawl swimmers that for minutes on end swam lengthwise up and down the pool, displaying their best form. On inquiry, one of them was found to be none other than Miss Jean Booth, State Junior 100 Yard Free Style Champion. The three men with her seemed to be enjoying the competition.
