The Yard. which is rapidly becoming a military post. will seem even more so from today on. as bugle calls resound under its stately clms.
The calls will be amplified from Thayer Hall through a public address system which was being tested yesterday afternoon. To be used for drills and assemblies, reveille, taps. and at other times during the day. the mechanism may also accompany the sailors as they march to and from the field with marches.
At colors "The Star Spangled Banner will be played, and "Anchors Aweigh" is scheduled to be prominent among the marching songs. according to "The Scuttlebutt."
