Hygiene Department Starts New System for Giving Cuts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Instituting a new system for giving excuses for absence from athletics, students with minor illnesses which demand single athletic cuts will not be excused, although those who are sick for any length of time will be excused as usual.

Under this new plan, students with minor complaints may take cuts and arrange at the Hygiene Building to make them up in the following weeks.

The Hygiene Department was forced to Institute this system because of the shortage of doctors and the increased number of students who are now taking compulsory athletics. Started this summer, this scheme has simplified the task of the doctors whose job it is to examine and excuse sick students.
