NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The names of the 20 Junior ushers for the Senior Class Day on June 7 were announced yesterday by Thomas Matters, Head Usher, and Donald E. McNicol and John Richardson, Jr., assistant Head Ushers.

1943's Second Marshal, Matters was appointed to see that the Seniors celebrate their Commencement free of administrative worries.

The following Juniors were appointed as the other ushers:

John R. Abbot, Jr.

Adelbert Ames III

Robert G. Axtell

Charles S. Borden

John C. Bullard

George R. Clay

Donald Forte

David A. Goldthwait

John L. Handy, Jr.

Richard Harte, Jr.

F. Barton Harvey, Jr.

Henry R. Heyburn

Robert Hoskins

Maynard Miller

Dana Reed

John E. Sawhill

John W. Sullivan

Their duties will be chiefly to direct visitors around the College, and to act as ushers in the services in Memorial Church. They will be admitted free to all of the Graduation Week exercises.

Ordinarily, they would also be the unobtrusive agents who put confetti bombs in the hands of Twenty-fifth Reunion grads and the new alumni for the annual Stadium battle, but because the $450 extravaganza is out of keeping with the times, they will be relieved of those duties.
