Nineteen promotions on the faculty and teaching staff, effective July 1, 1942, were announced by the University today.

The list includes: Joseph L. Snider, Professor of Business Economics; Ronold W. P. King, Associate Professor of Physics and Communication Engineering; Henry Chauncey, Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and Chairman of the Committee on Scholarships in Harvard College; George Van S.
