CONANT TO SPEAK AT '46 RECEPTION

Lowell Refectory Supplants Traditional Union as Scene

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Supplanted by the men in khaki of the Navy, all members of the Class of '46 will congregate in Lowell House Dining Hall tomorrow night at 7:30 o'clock instead of the usual Union Dining Hall for their traditional reception by President Conant and other dignitaries. New transfer students are also invited.

Other speakers on the program besides President Conant are Dr. Roger I. Lee, Fellow of Harvard College, and Richard M. Gummere, Chairman of the Committee on Admissions. The speakers will welcome the new members and outline plans and objects of the year.

Although utilized by some new Canta-bridgians as an opportunity to get acquainted with Boston night spots, past classes have found this reception one of the best affairs at which to meet the rest of the class.
