Stroked by Game Wulsin, the Eliot crew led Winthrop by two boat lengths in a heat of four boats held yesterday. Winthrop in second place beat Leverett by a decklength while Dunster trailed in fourth.

In the other heat of four, Kirkland with Eb Stern in the stroke's seat won over Adams by a decklength, while Lowell finished in third, and Dudley in fourth.
