Student Council officers were chosen yesterday afternoon at the 1943 Council's first meeting. Thomas Matters was elected president at that time, John Richardson, treasurer, and Adam Yarmolinsky, secretary.

A Nominating Committee to select members of the Class of 1943 for class offices was also drawn up at this meeting. Marshals, orator, chorister, odist and poet of the present Junior Class will be elected this May because of the early graduation of a large percentage of the class.

Sullivan Named Chairman

John W. Sullivan was named chairman of the nominating committee. The remainder of the group consists of Paul C. Sheeline, Bruce Barton, Robert Axtell, David Place, Dana Reed, and Joseph Scott.

This committee will make its selections public on Tuesday May 12 and additional petitions must be submitted by Friday, May 15. These petitions must be given a member of the committee or mailed to Sullivan at Adams C-36.
